Had a long absence. Truthfully, in the beginning it was because I got busy and forgot and then I became nonchalant about the whole thing and just didn't care.

Kinda fell out of the whole art thing for awhile. Not being able to enjoy it will kind of turn a person off. Without first grasping the basics it's really hard to move onto something difficult that requires the knowledge you should have learned beforehand, which is exactly what I tried to do.

Back to fundamentals for me, and even though I have to try to teach myself for a few months or so...well...better than nothing right? I actually feel kind of good about it, I used to get so discouraged. I feel now that was because I was trying for something so beyond me.

So...considering in that way I am still a rank beginner...I have a lot to do. I kinna look forward to it.
